Description:

Observe.AI, an AI Agents platform built for customer experience (CX), is looking for a Software Development Engineer II - Frontend to join their team in Bangalore. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced, agile environment to design, develop, and test end-to-end native applications. You will heavily focus on building web surfaces using React and TypeScript, while simultaneously engineering desktop application components using Electron.js and crafting cross-browser extensions. Collaborating closely with product, design, and backend engineering teams, you will optimize UI performance, startup rendering speeds, system-level media integration, and overall code efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent field with 3+ years of professional experience building high-quality UI architectures.
• Deep functional mastery over modern JavaScript/TypeScript, advanced browser lifecycle behavior, UI performance tuning, HTML, and CSS.
• Hands-on structural knowledge of Electron.js (handling renderer/main processes, IPC communication, system media capture, and desktop permissions) alongside experience developing for Chrome/Edge browser extensions.
• A solid conceptual understanding of front-end bundlers and build tools like Webpack or Parcel.
• Ability to perform high-quality peer code reviews, debug memory usage anomalies, and streamline application startup responsiveness.
• Strong critical thinking, high attention to structural detail, and excellent communication skills to collaborate smoothly across multi-functional stakeholders.
